March 5-Detective Sgt.
Cunningham along with De-
partment of Family Services
responded to a report of a new-
born infant testing positive for
drugs in her system.
A warrant is being sought
against the mother of the new-
born baby girl for endanger-
ing the welfare of a child after
the hospital tests revealed that
the baby had metham-
phetamine and ben-
zodiazepine in it's system
The 20 year old mother who
is a resident of Cuba, Mis-
souri, also tested positive for
the same drugs.
March 7-Sgt. Darren Dake
took a report of a dog bite at
Lakewood Trailer Court in
Bourbon.
It was reported that a nine
year old girl had went to a
neighbor's house and after
knocking on the door a large
black dog came out of the door
and bit her on the leg. The
girl was treated and released
for minor injuries at Sulli-
w, Hospital.
March 8-Sgt. Darren Dake
arrested a man who had in-
terfered with the arrests of a
wanted subject.
The subject who had several
warrants for several counties
was believed to be with the
arrested man. When ques-
tioned he denied knowing
where the wanted subject was
but in fact he was found hid-

cooperating with the arrest of
a felony he was later released
and not charged.
March 8-Deputy Moreland
took a report of a burglary
from a store in Davisville.
At 8 a.m. the store manager
discovered that a window was
broken out of the store and
numerous alcoholic bever-
ages and cigarettes were sto-
len from inside.
The manager last saw the
store before burglarized on
March 7 at 6:45 p.m.
A male subject in the area
has been identified as a pos,
sible suspect.
March 10-Deputy Walka
was dispatched to a residence
west of Steelville for a bur-
glary.
Deputy Walka was met by
the reporting party who stated
that he has been out of town
for a week or so and came
back and found his residence
broken into. He further stated
that CDs and $200 in cash
and a .22 cal rifle was taken.
Entry was gained from a
back window that was not
locked due to the fact they
were old windows.
March 10-Deputy Walka
took a report for a lost license
plate that the reporting party
had lost off of his vehicle.
The reporting party was not
sure when this occurred and

needed a report to get his new
plates from DOR.
March lO-Deputy Walka
took a call at a residence lo-
cated west of Cuba for a prop-
erty damage and burglary.
A subject known to the vic-
tim gained entry into his
residence and put pad locks
on the doors to keep him from
getting into the home. He fur-
ther stated that nothing was
in the home. The suspect has
been identified and further
investigation to follow.
