Sat 912 Sunday by Appointment Only ctp-s t|n prayers and interment were in Cemetery, Steelville, Missouri. as pallbearers were John Carr, Jeff , Natalice Radthe, Richard Risku, Robert and Chris Turnbough. arrangements under the direction of the Brothers Funeral Home, Steelville, Joseph William Patrick, Sr. Joseph William Patrick, Sr. of Cuba, Mo. was born on May 8, 1920 to the union of Henry Pietrzak and Sophie Morawski Pietrzak and passed away on June 4, 2003 at Cuba, Mo. at the age of 83 years, 26 days. On March 17, 1943 Joe was united in mar- riage to Freida Mac Roux in St. Louis, Mo. One son, Joseph, Jr. and four daughters, Judith, Kathleen, Deborah and Kimberly were bern to this union. They were happily married for 60 years. On March 11, 1943 Joe was inducted into the Army of the United States of America and was honorably discharged on November 5, 1945. He served in the Ardennes, Rhineland and Central Europe campaigns during World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Stanley Patrick and one sister Mary Goodyear. Those who survive to mourn his passing from this life are his devoted wife Freida Patrick; one son, Joseph W. Patrick, Jr., and wife Doris; four daughters, Judith Reindl and husband Robert, Kathleen Sutter, Deborah Haake and husband Mark and Kimberly Brown and hus- band Dean. Two brothers Edward Patrick and Gene Patrick and wife Chris; two sisters, Eva Pietrzak and Vickie Benedict and husband Ben; sister-in-law Marie Patrick; 14 grandchil- dren; four great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends. Joe was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, good friend to all who knew him and will be sadly missed. Visitation was held on Friday, June 6, 2003 at the Britton Funeral Home, Cuba, Mo. from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Graveside services were held on Friday, June 6, 2003 at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo. at 2:15 p.m. All arrangements were under the direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Cuba, Mo. Crawford County Sheri'rf's Incident Report May 17-Deputy Satterfield received a report of an as- sault that occurred near the Cuba area. Deputy Satterfield made contact with the reporting party who stated that he had been run over at a trailride by a white male who was on a horse at the time. The reporting party and the suspect have an ongoing dis- pute. Deputy Satterfield made contact with the suspect the next day and after question- ing, Brent Licklider was ar- rested and transported to the Crawford County Jail. May 18-Deputies Grissom and Harlan responded to the Route 66 Bar and Grill for an assault victim. Upon arrival it was deter- mined that the victim was i n fact the owner of the bar. The owner had escorted a male subject and his girl- friend out of the bar as they were getting rowdy.
