The new Cuba business, located at 409 South Franklin, handles just about every auto- motive repair or maintenance job you could ever have, as well as selling and repairing tires, and even providing a 24 hour towing service. Oh, and they do state vehicle inspections, too. Owned by Scott Zwetow, Autotec can perform oil changes, brake jobs, replace shocks, do electrical work, engine repair, suspension jobs, belt and hose replacements, and fix tires. Autotec also provides 24 hour road hazard service, 24 hour towing, tractor-trailer repair, National Tire accounts, and sales of new Crate engines for stock or high performance vehicles. The business carries a wide variety of the major tire brands, such as Michelin, BF Goodrich, Goodyear, Bridge- stone, Uniroyal, Hercules, Dunlop, Toyo, and much more.. Most of their brands can also be gotten in tractor-trailer sizes, too. "We can get any size tire for any type of vehicle or farm tractor," said Zwetow. "We can beat anyone's local price. With a combined experience of about 15 years in tractor- trailer and auto repair, the folks at Autotec definitely know what they're talking about. B.J. Brooks serves as the shop's head mechanic. "We felt like Cuba needed a business that can get your vehicle back to you faster and without all the high prices. We have the lowest prices on truck parts and labor. Tire repairs are just $8, balance $2, and used tires start at $10 each," Zwetow said. Autotec is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Saturdays froin 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. In the summer, the shop will also have hours on Sundays. MFA Oil will return $2.7 million cash to members About 700 delegates, guests and employees of MFA Oil qpmpany recently gathered at lranson, Missouri for the com- pany's 75th annual meeting. Chairman of the board Benny Farrell, MmTviUe, con- ducted the meeting and announced the company will return cash payments of $2.7 million to its members this year. Company president Jerr'y Taylor reported estimated • sales of almost $550 million. Guest speakers were Joe Jobe, executive director of the National Biodiesel Board, and John G. Buehrle, vice presi- dent of finance and chief finan- cial officer of National Cooperative Refinery Association, McPherson, Kansas. After the business meeting, entertainment was provided by The Paul Harris Show. MFA Oil Company is a farmer-owned cooperative with more than 40,000 members. The company supplies fuels, lubricants, propane and tires to customers in Missouri, Tennessee, Arkansas, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Kansas and Iowa.
